Rebel in Oslo is another amazing building that we had the opportunity to illuminate in cooperation with our partner. This modern business and technology incubator with conference rooms, offices, exhibition halls, restaurants and bars brings together ambitious people with passion and positive energy.
The interior design was based on a comprehensive reconstruction of an existing building. It was necessary to adapt the building to modern technical requirements, including the comfort of the users of this space. Due to numerous rooms with various uses, high, raw ceiling and a large interior space, the project was an interesting challenge for us. Together with our partner, we have adapted the ideal lighting for many rooms in the building, and we have also developed a tailor-made lighting system based on a structure made of aluminum pipes.
The photos show the effects of this extraordinary collaboration. Taking into account the unconventional, modern interior design and the multitude of colours present in it, it was decided to use only black luminaires. Undoubtedly, the project is impressive from the very entrance, where we are welcomed by a unique atrium, with huge stairs covered with mirrors, which are an amazing decorative element, but also an ingenious camouflage of the staircase itself. This modern space invites us to non-committal meetings, provides a sense of comfort and an extraordinary visual experience. Looking up, we see warm lighting that perfectly harmonizes with the wooden accents of the entire atrium space.
In the common space, luminaires according to individual design, profile lighting lines and profile systems of various shapes, as well as point lighting - spot systems (TES ECO SPOT) and ceiling downlights (TUBE 80) were installed. The common space lighting elements will be the main lighting theme for the building and we will see them sequentially in other rooms. The conference rooms are lit to a large extent by the TES ECO SPOT spot lamps seen in the common area, which in addition to their practical, have a decorative function - they emphasize the interesting structure of the walls. Round plafonds suspended on a distance tube (PLAFO 500 LUMI) perfectly illuminate the tables, thus ensuring comfort and increasing the concentration of users of a given space. We illuminated offices by using square profile systems. One of our most popular products (PLAFO 430) fits perfectly in the stairway.
The Rebel project was a great opportunity for another, fruitful cooperation with our partner, but also another experience in designing lighting tailored to the client's needs, on special request.
